United Way of 1000 Lakes is inviting local artists to contribute to Your Time for Art, a one-of-a-kind auction featured at the 2026 Community Celebration on May 21 at Timberlake Lodge.

Unlike traditional auctions, Your Time for Art allows attendees to bid volunteer hours — rather than dollars — as their currency. The event inspires community members to serve local nonprofits while celebrating the creativity of regional artists. New this year, artwork will also be available for outright purchase, expanding both visibility and impact.

Since its start in 2024, the event has generated more than 650 volunteer hours for area nonprofits, equating to nearly $18,000 in community value.

Artists interested in donating paintings, photography, sculpture, glasswork, or other visual art are encouraged to participate. Artwork must be received by May 1, unless otherwise arranged.

Your Time for Art unites creativity and volunteerism — strengthening Itasca County through service, connection, and community impact.
