Proud Partner Spotlight – Grace House
About the Video Series
At United Way of 1000 Lakes, partnerships are at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to introduce our Proud Partner Spotlight Video Series, designed to highlight the incredible programs and organizations making a profound difference in the lives of individuals and families in our region. Through the end of the year, we will release a new video each week, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the programs and nonprofits supported by United Way’s Community Investment Fund. This fund, fueled by the generous contributions of our donors, supports 16 impactful programs that align with our mission to improve education, health, and financial stability for people across greater Itasca County.
Grace House Spotlight
Welcome to United Way of 1000 Lakes’ Proud Partner Video Series, where we highlight the vital work of our partner organizations in supporting children and families across our communities.
In this episode, we’re excited to introduce the Grace House—one of our dedicated partners under United Way’s “Safety Net” pillar. This program is committed to supporting individuals and families facing housing instability due to challenges like job loss, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Joining us today is Ron Oleheiser, Executive Director at Grace House in Grand Rapids to share more about the impactful work they’re doing—helping families overcome obstacles, secure housing, and plan for the future.
Let’s dive in to hear more about how they’re helping build a stronger, more resilient community
