What inspired you to be involved with United Way?

I believe the positive exists in the community and is worth growing. I am inspired to be involved with United Way because of the local impact. I have been involved in state-wide boards and initiatives previously and I’m excited to connect locally.

What is one word you would use to sum up United Way’s work?

Thoughtful

What impresses you most about the Itasca Area?

The solutions are in our community. We have such an ability to come together as a community to collaborate and connect.

What is one thing about United Way that you think most people don’t know?

About the time and energy that goes into the intentionality of where money will make the most impact in the community.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in United Way?

There are so many great ways to invest in our community through monetary and time donations. The great thing about United Way is that you don’t have to pick just one organization – when you donate, you’re maximizing your donation in areas of critical need in the community.
