Community Investment Panel

United Way’s allocations process is a great place to learn about our community, meet interesting and committed people from all walks of life, develop leadership skills and help one in three people in the region. Volunteers review funding proposals from various local human service agencies, discuss the value and impact of the program to the community, conduct site visits and ultimately make funding recommendations to the Board or Directors.

Time Commitment: March-June (approximately 30 hours)

If you are interested in serving as a Community Investment Panel volunteer, please contact United Way at 218-999-7570 or info@uwlakes.org.
