What is 211?


211 is United Way’s statewide information and navigation service that helps people find essential resources.

211 was set aside by the Federal Communications Commission in 2000 for information, referral, and navigation in North America. The 211 system in the United States handled over 13 million calls in 2015. Minnesota has one of the largest and most well-respected 211 services in the country.
